Following months of speculation about the future of a prominent site close to the Fulham Road, Swan Homes have shared plans for the redevelopment with local residents. The development, to be known as ‘The Hestercombes’, will see a site that has been ignored for many years, and has been in a dangerous state of repair, relaunched as a new apartment development.
This once blighted site will provide apartment homes for young professionals in this area where prices for traditional houses have extended out of reach, leaving many unable to take their first step on to the housing ladder.
Architect Giles Hoeg of Jo Cowen Architects has worked closely with Swan Homes on the development,

They encouraged us to make use of the highest quality materials and to help them ensure that this building will stand the test of time.”
